“Grief in the Holidays” Support Groups in Laconia and Wolfeboro with Central New Hampshire VNA & Hospice
December 18 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
An event every month that begins at 5:00 pm on day Third of the month, happening 2 times
Central New Hampshire VNA & Hospice will offer “Grief in the Holidays” support groups in Laconia and Wolfeboro open to all adults in our community. This time of year can be full of powerful memories, feelings, and challenges – navigating through gatherings and traditions – while vividly aware of those are not with us.
Participants in past years have told us how important it was to have a space to explore what may be hard and what may be life-giving during this time: whether, where, with whom and how to celebrate; how to include our loved ones through rituals, or sharing music, photos, stories; the comforts and pains of being with people; and how to be kind to our own shifting emotions or needs.
There is no right way to grieve and no right way to move through this season. Together with others we can acknowledge our grief, anticipate what we may need and learn from how others have navigated these waters.
Groups will meet in Wolfeboro at the First Congregational Church (115 South Main Street) on Tuesdays, November 19 and December 17 from 6:30 – 8:00pm.
Groups will meet in Laconia at Central New Hampshire VNA & Hospice office (780 N. Main St.) on Wednesdays, November 20 and December 18 from 5:00 – 6:30pm.
All groups are non-religious and offered at no cost. You are welcome to one or more. For more information, please contact Dan Kusch, Bereavement & Spiritual Care Coordinator, 524-8444 x2390 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
